My mother’s A/C in her quite old car was not working well. It would come and go, and hard to cool down when the temperature was in the 80's and up. She took it here and they suggested she get a new compressor for $2,723. I took it to my trusted mechanic and they replaced the relay switch. It's so cold now, I had to turn it down. I appreciate their response, however, I wonder why it's so cold, with the pressures so far off. How is a relay a bandaid? It's supposed to work to engage the compressor clutch. It's how the system works. If the low side was too high, it'd be kicking the compressor off. They have her replacing the expansion block, which requires pulling the evaporator, as if the compressor locked up. Which it hasn't. If I find it does need to be replaced, I will correct my review. I was quoted $1,400 with my mechanic, so I advise others to get two other quotes.

Amazing staff, had an issue with my AC in my 2019 F250 diesel. Made an appointment, brought it in, they had me taken care of by end of day. Reasonable price and great service. Even had me come back the following Monday just to check and make sure there were no leaks or problems free of charge. Highly recommend.

Scam artists! I paid 170 for an alignment at the shop and in the middle of the alignment they informed me that that cost only covered the front two wheels not the rear wheels I told them I was happy with the way the rear wheels were sitting and not to mess with them they did it anyway quote for free and the alignment is awful it pulls from both the rear and the front points the opposite direction that it's pulling. Not to mention that when I brought it back to them less than 24 hours later they refused to fix it saying "it will never be truly straight".

Gave them a call on a Monday from Tennessee to inquiry a clutch replacement for my son's car in Tally. Car was in the shop on Tuesday and repairs completed on Thursday, all on the low end of several estimates. Will and Stephon were in steady communication with issues that arose. Had a couple of roadblocks, but they found a way around them. Did not even suggest replacement of some parts I was concerned with because they were not worn out yet. At 70 years old, I've had my share of auto repair shop experiences. A+++ for these guys!

The service here is beyond incredible. The idea of going into an auto shop and being in a BETTER mood when leaving is an experience I’ve only had at Fountains. They are truly so kind, so knowledgeable, and will tell it to you straight. Stephon went above and beyond to make every part of the experience easier and Will has been helpful whenever I called. Glenn was amazing and took time to help me however he could even though the shop was incredibly busy. I almost want to gate keep how great they are for myself but they honestly deserve the business. If you’re looking for an auto shop in Tallahassee, this should definitely be your first choice. I know you’ll be happy with the decision.
